In this article, you will learn how to install your custom widget onto your WordPress website. The Kenect widget is an effective way to capture leads. Your widget will offer a fast, convenient way for customers to contact you. Please note that only Admin users can add plugins to WordPress.

***Note: If you are hard-coding the Text Us widget, this will have to be added to the website code directly. The following steps are for adding the code via plugins.***

1. Log in to your WordPress website.
2. Go to Plugins and click 'Add New.'
  
4. Search for "Header" in the search bar on the right-hand side. This will pull
    
5. Click 'Install Now' and activate the plugin.
    
6. Once installed, you will notice "Code Snippets" appear under the Plugins. Click on Code Snippets then select "Header and Footer."
    
7. Paste your custom Text Us Widget code (from Kenect) in the Header box. Click "Save Changes" when you are finished.

- **How do I remove the code? **
  - Follow steps 1 and 2 to locate your plugins. Search "Header" and it should pull up your installed plugin.  You will need to remove the coding from the Header or Footer section under Code Snippets (see steps 5 and 6). If the widget was hard-coded into your WordPress site then that will require an Admin to manually delete the widget coding from the website code.
