# **Install Text Us Widget on Wix**

#### **Step-by-Step Guide**

1. Go to Settings in your site's dashboard.
2. Click the Custom Code tab in the Advanced section (scroll to the bottom to find this option).

3. Click +Add Custom Code at the top-right.

4. Paste the code snippet in the text box.

# **Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)**

- **I don't see the + Add Custom Code option?**
  - It's possible you are using either an older version of Google Chrome or of Wix. Make sure that your device settings are up to date and this should resolve the lack of button.
  - In addition if your device is too old, make sure to update as soon as possible.
- **I've added the Custom Code but I don't see the widget on my site.**
  - If you aren't seeing the coding on your site, make sure you have published the custom code into the header of the website so it displays on all pages, putting the code into the header of only one page will only allow the widget to display on that page.
  - If you are sure you have added the information correctly, contact your customer success manager at Kenect to help with proofing the location of the coding.
- **How do I edit what it says inside of the widget?**
  - For any edits made to what happens after you click on the widget contact your Customer Success Manager to make those edits for you. Be aware in advance only the following fields can be edited:
    - Color of Widget
    - Color of Widget Text
    - Location of Widget on site (In one of the four corners)
    - Options for clients to click on before entering their information
    - Where texts are routed to via team inside of Kenect after submission of inquiry
    - Widget prompt bubble
    - Company name
