In this article, you will learn how to you enable your signature for text messages. Signatures are a great way to add a professional touch to your outbound messages and to let the recipient know who they are communicating with. 

 

# **Enable Your Text Signature**

#### **Step-by-Step Guide**

1. Click on the Settings gear icon in the bottom-left corner of Kenect, then select 'Account.'

2. Under the Message Signature section, click the toggle 'Include a signature when I send a text message.'

3. A text box will appear. Enter your desired text signature and click 'Save' when you're ready.

4. Once you send a message, you will see your custom text signature.

- **When the signature is enabled, will it be included on every message?**
  - Yes, once a signature is enabled, it will be included on every outbound message from that user.
- **Can I include a link in my signature?**
  - While it is possible to include a link, we do not recommend this as it can often be flagged by carriers as potential spam to have the the same link passing through traffic often.
- **Are there recommendations on what to include in a signature?**
  - Yes, we recommend keeping it short an simple by including your First/Last Name and Name of Business. Do not include phone numbers, links or emojis as it may impact message deliverability.
