In this article, you will learn how to add and manage Teams in Kenect. Utilize Teams in Kenect to organize your users and their conversations. Teams are a great way to assign multiple users to a message to ensure your customers are speaking with the right people at your business 

> ℹ️ ****Note: Adding and managing teams can only be done on the desktop version of Kenect.***

# **Adding and Managing Teams**

#### **Step-by-Step Guide**

1. Select the Settings 'gear' icon in the bottom-left corner then click 'Teams.'

2. On the Teams page, you will see a list of your existing teams. To create a new team, click the  blue 'New' button in the top-right corner.

3. Enter your team name and select which user(s) should be assigned to that team.

a. To add team members, you can either click the drop-down menu or type the user's name.

# **Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)**

- **Can users be assigned to more than one team?**
  - Yes, users can be assigned to as many teams as needed.
- **Is there a limit to how many users can be on a team? **
  - There is no limit to how many users can be on a team.
- **Can a Team be assigned to the Kenect Text Us Widget so leads are automatically routed to them?**
  - Yes. A Team in Kenect can be tied to a department in your Text Us Widget so that any leads sent to that department are automatically assigned to members of that Team. Only Kenect Support can configure this connection.
    To request this change:
    - Add the desired users to a Team in Kenect.
    - Contact Kenect Support at 385-474-8180 or [support@kenect.com](mailto:support@kenect.com).
    - Provide the name of the Team and the Widget Department you want it linked to
    - Kenect Support will connect the Team to the department so all leads from that department are automatically assigned to its members.
