# **Purpose**

In this article, you'll learn how to schedule a text to be sent in the future, learn different ways to schedule messages, what content can be in a scheduled message, and how to find your scheduled message.

# **Schedule Messages on Desktop Version**

#### **Step-by-Step Guide**

1. From the inbox, select your existing conversation or start a new one by clicking the blue "+." In the open conversation, you’ll see the following options in the message toolbar.

2. To schedule a text, select the calendar icon.

3. Once this icon is selected a calendar will appear.

4. From the calendar, select your date and time for the message. Confirm the date and time is correct, then select ‘Apply’ in the bottom right corner of the calendar.

5. Once you have selected ‘Apply’ you'll see the scheduled date and time below.

6. You have the option to type a custom message, pick from your Quick Reply messages, send a review request, or attach a file.

> ℹ️ *Note: You cannot click "Schedule" until a message is set. *

7. Click 'Schedule' to queue your message.

8. A confirmation window will appear once you have scheduled your message.

**Schedule Messages on Mobile Version**

 

1. From the inbox, select your existing conversation or start a new one by clicking the blue '+'.

2. Click the blue '+' in the bottom-left corner to open your messaging options. Select 'Schedule Message'

3. Pick the date your message needs to be sent on.

4. Select your desired time, add an attachment, if applicable, then enter your message details. Once you're ready, click 'Schedule Message'.

5. If you need to send a Quick Reply as a scheduled message, you can do so by clicking the blue '+' in the conversation and select 'Quick Reply'

6. Select your Quick Reply Message from the available list.

7. Repeat steps 1-4. You will see the Quick Reply messages already in the Message Text Box. Click 'Schedule Message' when you're ready to send.

8. You will be taken back to the conversation screen. From there, you can view all scheduled messages by clicking the three vertical dots in the top-right corner then selecting 'Scheduled Messages'.

9. A list of scheduled messages will appear. You can either edit or delete the scheduled message(s) by clicking on the edit icon or trash icon

# **Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)**

 

- **I have several scheduled messages I want to send to a client, is there a faster way to do this?**
  - Currently, each message must be crafted individually within Kenect. You can either do this from the inbox, or by navigating to the scheduled messages specific portion of Kenect found under your settings.
    - 
      
- **Where do I see my upcoming Scheduled Messages?**
  - Select the gear icon in the bottom left corner, then click "Scheduled Messages."

- **There are two ways to find a scheduled message for a contact.**

1. Open their conversation in Kenect and click their contact name. You will see "Scheduled Messages" located under the Notes section.
  - Select the Contacts tab in the main menu. Search by contact name and any scheduled message will appear in their contact profile.

- If there are future messages you will see a record, if not no messages will be found. See Also: (How to edit and adjust scheduled messages)
- **How do I know if my scheduled message was sent?**
  - You will find a record of the message located in the Scheduled Messages tab found under settings. You can also simply navigate to the record of the contact and look under their message history to confirm receipt of message.
- **What can I include in a scheduled message?**
  - You can include links, attachments, videos, and images. The only currently standard feature that cannot be scheduled is a payment request link.
- **Are there limits to the number of scheduled messages I can create?**
  - No! There is no limit to your scheduled messages.
- **What kinds of scheduled messages should I send?**
  - For best practices, please contact your Customer Success Manager. They will help you create a success strategy.
- **Can every member of my staff schedule a text?**
  - Yes! Every Kenect user can send a scheduled message.
