> ℹ️ # How Do I Use the Performance Dashboard?

The Performance Dashboard is a centralized hub for **revenue-tied success metrics** with our Service AI product. By comprehensively reviewing this page, you’ll have great insights into what messaging efforts are driving real-dollar value, which ones may need to be reviewed, and what services truly drive growth at your dealership.

- **Adjust** date range (up to 60 days) and click the refresh icon to apply updates.
- **Highlight or hide** specific campaigns using the *Campaign Filter *field at the top.

> ℹ️ ## How to Read Your Performance Data

In this section, you can learn more about the different metrics, data, and details held within the **Performance Dashboard. **This page is broken up into 4 main sections:

1. **Performance Drill-Down Tiles (Sales/Service Metrics)**
2. **Revenue Graphs (Total Revenue/Total ROs/Total Appointments)**
3. **Revenue Attribution Detail**

### Performance Drill-Down Tiles

These values display revenue generated from campaigns,, and are separated by departmental or customer sales.

- **Total Sales: **the combined revenue from all campaign-influenced repair orders, including customer-paid, warranty, and internal transactions.
- **Customer Sales:** total revenue paid directly by customers through campaign-driven repair orders, excluding warranty or internal work.
- **Warranty Sales:** total warranty-covered revenue tied to campaigns provided by an OEM.
- **Internal Sales: **all internal dealership repair order revenue (such as reconditioning or fleet work) generated from campaign messaging.
- **Closed ROs: **the total number of completed ROs linked to campaign interactions.
- **Appointments: **the total appointments scheduled as a result of campaign outreach.

### Revenue Graphs

These customizable graphs give insight within the date range provided of daily revenue indicators by campaign.

- **Hover** over a bar to see the automatic campaign type and value tied to the type of graph.
- **Highlight or hide** specific campaigns using the *Campaign Filter Panel* on the right.
- **Adjust** date range (up to 60 days) and click the refresh icon to apply updates.

### Revenue Attribution Data

This line-by-line table offers a detailed view of every repair order that’s been tied to a campaign, giving insight into how our attributed revenue numbers are showing on the dashboard.

- Each line item will have the RO number, customer name, VIN, Open/Close dates, service advisor, revenue type (customer, warranty, internal) and any aligned operation codes listed.

> ℹ️ Revenue Attribution data can show in set **30-**,** ****60-**, or **90-Day** increments for faster reporting and review. Choose which timeframe you’d like to see attribution data for by selecting it in the dropdown menu next to the date range field.

> ℹ️ ## Dashboard Best Practices

1. **Refresh & Review Regularly**

Each time you adjust filters (such as date range or campaign selection) click the *blue refresh icon* to load the most up-to-date data.

- Refreshing ensures totals, graphs, and attribution data reflect current performance.
- For consistent reporting, align dashboard reviews with your weekly or monthly operational meetings.

2. **Track Trends, Not Just Totals**

Daily numbers give quick visibility, but long-term trends reveal the *real story*.

- Use the date filter to view performance over multiple weeks or months to identify seasonal changes, campaign saturation, or steady growth.
- Compare metrics (Total Revenue, Closed ROs, and Appointments) over time to spot early indicators of success or slowdowns in customer engagement.

3. **Confirm ROI with Attribution**

The *Revenue Attribution Data* table is your proof of ROI.

- Use it to confirm that specific campaigns led to real repair orders and revenue.
- Filter by campaign name or Service Advisor to validate internal performance or cross-department alignment.

4. **Segment by Campaign Type**

Campaign filters can be used strategically to compare outcomes between *Service*, *Parts*, or *Sales *initiatives (depending on what’s active in your DMS).

- Removing unrelated campaigns helps clarify which initiatives generate measurable business.
- Over time, you can identify which customer audiences or message types drive the highest appointment-to-RO conversion rate.

5. **Share & Align Results**

Use dashboard insights to support departmental KPIs such as *service lane utilization*, *campaign ROI*, and *advisor performance*.

- Total Revenue and Closed ROs show outcome success.
- Appointments reveal pipeline strength.
- Together, these metrics provide a full view of your service department’s marketing efficiency and customer engagement health.

> ℹ️ # How Can I Troubleshoot Issues?

While the **Performance Dashboard** runs smoothly for most users, you may occasionally notice data delays or display issues. Use the guidance below to understand known limitations and how to fix the most common problems.

> ℹ️ ## Known Limitations

1. **Specialty Dealership Reporting**

If you’re a specialty dealership, the *Total Appointments* and *Total Revenue *graph may not display comprehensive or full data. This is because our current DMS systems supporting our specialty dealerships are unable to send appointment data to Service AI.

- **Kenect **is working with these DMS partners to enable this feature in the future. In the meantime, **Kenect Jumpstart AI **might be a good product fit for your dealership; reach out to your Kenect dedicated representative or our Support team for more information.

2. **Rolling 60-Day Date Ranges & Datasets**

The dashboard currently supports viewing drill-down metrics and graph data in rolling 60-day increments. When inputting dates into the date range field, you can only chose a range within 60 days of your start date and end date.

- **Revenue Attribution Details** can now be shown for either 60, 90, or 120 days to address this concern.
- Longer-range views (6- or 12-month) with dashboard graphs are currently in development and expected in mid-to-late 2026.

3. **Non-Exportable Revenue Attribution Data**

The *Revenue Attribution Data* table on the Performance Dashboard can’t currently be exported. These details are viewable only within the dashboard or through the customer’s profile under the *Timeline *tab.

- There’s no estimated release date for export functionality at this time.

> ℹ️ ## Common Troubleshooting Scenarios

1. **Dashboard isn’t showing the latest data**
  - **Resolution:*** *Verify that your DMS integration is active and synced. Click the **blue refresh icon** after changing filters or date ranges to reload the most recent data.
2. **Graphs appear empty or incomplete**
  - **Resolution:*** *Check the **Campaign Filter Panel** on the right-hand side. If all campaigns are deselected, the chart will appear blank. Re-enable the campaigns you want to view.
    - This can also occur if cookies/cache need clearing or you’re logging into multiple SAI accounts from the same device.
  - **Resolution: **Campaigns with the ‘Revenue Tracking’ toggle on **Campaign Administration → Campaigns** track towards this dashboard. If a campaign does not have this toggle on, it will not show.
3. **Metrics don’t match your DMS totals**
  - **Resolution:** The dashboard only displays **campaign-attributed** revenue and repair orders. Compare your DMS report with the **Revenue Attribution Data** table to see which ROs were linked to campaigns.
    - You can also review customer profiles and timeline data to confirm campaign attribution.

> ℹ️ ## FAQs

**Q: How often does the Performance Dashboard update?**
*A: The dashboard refreshes hourly through your DMS integration, ensuring data accuracy while minimizing system strain. For the most recent view, click the ****blue refresh icon**** after changing filters or date ranges.*

**Q: Why don’t my revenue numbers match what’s in my DMS?**
*A: The dashboard only reports on ****automatic campaign-attributed data****—that means revenue and repair orders generated through Service AI campaigns triggering based on DMS data. General dealership transactions and manual campaigns won’t appear in these totals.*

**Q: What’s the difference between an appointment and a closed RO in the dashboard**
*A: Appointments represent ****scheduled ****work that originated from a campaign message, while Closed ROs reflect ****completed services ****that generated actual revenue. You can use both metrics together to measure conversion from booking to completion.*

**Q: Why does my dashboard look blank after I change filters?**
*A: If no campaigns are selected in the ****Campaign Filter Panel****, the graphs will appear empty. Re-enable one or more campaigns to repopulate the charts.*

**Q: Can I export data from the dashboard for reporting?**
*A: Currently, only select dashboard data can be exported. The ****Revenue Attribution Data**** table is view-only within the platform or customer profile. Kenect plans to expand export functionality in future updates.*

**Q: Who can access the Performance Dashboard?**
*A: Access is limited to ****Contact Center Manager**** and ****Service Manager**** roles. If you can’t see the dashboard, contact your dealership administrator to review your user permissions.*

**Q: Why doesn’t the Total Appointments graph show data for my dealership?**
*A: Some specialty DMS partners don’t yet send appointment data to Service AI. If you’re a specialty dealership, this section may remain blank until those integrations are expanded.*

**Q: How can I tell if a campaign is performing well?**
*A: Filter the dashboard by campaign and review ****Closed ROs**** and ****Total Revenue**** metrics together. A high number of closed repair orders following a campaign send indicates strong engagement and return on investment.*

**Q: What should I check first if my data looks incorrect?**
*A: Start by confirming your selected filters and date range. Then, verify your DMS sync is active and that repair orders are closing properly. If the issue continues, contact Kenect Support for assistance.*

**Q: Where can I set up my default revenue attribution window (30, 60, 90, 120-Days)?**
*A: Your default attribution window will be set to 30 Days automatically, and can be adjusted by selecting a different option in the dropdown menu. If you’d like to change the default upon accessing the page to either 60 or 90, you’ll need to reach out to a dedicated Kenect specialist.*
